Scheduled Road Work for Week of September 14, 2026

MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI — The Muskegon County Road Commission (MCRC) will continue road maintenance and improvement projects throughout the county during the week of September 14, weather permitting.

Motorists are encouraged to slow down, stay alert, and use caution when traveling through active work zones. Giving crews plenty of room to work helps keep everyone safe.

Whitehall District

Crack Pouring

• Whitehall Road from Michillinda Road to Colby Street

Drainage Repair

• Nestrom Road at Duck Creek — downspout repair

Twin Lake District

Dura-Patching

• Fruitvale Road from the dead end to Skeels Road
• White Lake Drive from Hyde Park Road to Russell Road

Shoulder Maintenance

• Countywide

Muskegon District

Dura-Patching

• Heights Ravenna Road from Dangl Road to the Ravenna village limits, in preparation for chip seal work

Ditching

• Bailey Road from Bossett Road to Ravenna Road

Bayne Road  - Timber Bridge
MCRC crews will begin earth excavation on Tuesday, September 15, to prepare the site for the contractor's sheet pile installation and pile driving. Contractor work is scheduled to begin during the week of September 21.

MCRC crews will continue assisting with MDOT maintenance activities, including gravel berm removals.
