Scheduled Road Work for Week of June 1, 2026

MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – The Muskegon County Road Commission (MCRC) announces the following road work scheduled for the week of June 1, 2026. All work is weather dependent and subject to change. Please drive with caution through work zones and watch for crews and equipment.

Whitehall District Unit

MDOT Mowing

Crack Pour/Over Band

• Whitehall Road – Alice Street to Colby Street
• Nestrom Road – River Road to Duck Lake Road

Dura-Patching

• White Lake Drive – Zellar Road to Whitehall Road

Twin Lake District Unit

MDOT Mowing

Crack Pouring/Over Band

• White Lake Drive and River Road

Gravel Patching/Grading

• Prep work for dust control operations

Dura-Patching

• Progress Drive – north of White Lake Drive

Muskegon District Unit

MDOT Mowing

Crack Pour/Over Band

• Sheridan Avenue – south city limits north to M-46 (Apple Avenue)
• Access Highway – south city limits north to Getty Street

Dura-Patching

• Brickyard Road – Ryerson Road to Marvin Road

Ditching/Berm Removal

• Behler Road – White Road to Bailey Road

Gravel Patching/Grading

• Prep work for dust control operations

Culvert Work

• Cline Road culvert in Fruitport Township
• Contractor paving the patch scheduled for Friday, May 29

Chip Seal

Beginning June 1:

• Price Road – Moorland Road north to Sherman Road
• Moorland Road – Wilson Road north to Heights Ravenna Road
• Sherman Road – Evanston Avenue to Price Road
• Heights Ravenna Road – Dangl Road to east Ravenna Village limits

Other Work

• In-county contractor mowing is scheduled to begin Monday, June 1, starting in the east county
• Countywide guardrail spray program scheduled to begin Saturday, June 6
